Classic Banana Bread

This is always the best way to make your house smell AMAZING and it tastes as good as it smells! My favorite thing about this recipe is it is super easy to make and never disappoints.


  • 1/2 cup margarine (melted)

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 2-3 extra ripe bananas

  • 1 1/4 cup flour (do last)

  • 3/4 teaspoon of baking soda


  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Grease your loaf pan with cooking spray.

  3. Mix your margarine, sugar, eggs, and bananas until all lumps are gone.

  4. Slowly add your baking soda and flour.

  5. Continue mixing until your batter is smooth.

  6. Pour your batter into the greased loaf pan.

  7. Tap the edges of the pan to knock any air bubble loose.

  8. Cook for 45 mins.

  9. Remove from oven and let your bread cook, then top with powdered sugar and serve!

* If you want to make chocolate chip banana bread - once you pour your batter into the loaf pan, sprinkle 1/4 cup of semis-sweet chocolate chips on the top before putting into the oven to bake.
